Make the switch

There's a change to the way you listen to Radio City 2 and Radio City Talk.

On Monday 7th December the two stations will swap frequencies. Radio City 2 leaves its current AM home to move over to 105.9 FM and our newly re-branded Radio City Talk, Liverpool’s only Rock, News and Sport station, will move to 1548 AM with an updated format and great new shows.

Both stations will remain available online and via DAB (you will need to retune your radio).

All this means you’ll have a wider choice of great music on FM from Radio City and Radio City 2, plus the newly-launched Radio City 3 bringing the very latest current hit music to the city on DAB, and the re-energised Radio City Talk on 1548AM.

And don’t forget that you can take your pick from the whole Radio City family in one convenient location – the free Radio City app for smartphones and tablets.

There are few people in Liverpool who inspire so much affection as Simon ‘Rossie’ Ross who will lead the team as host of the new Radio City 2 breakfast show, Monday to Friday 6am to 10am.

Another Liverpool radio legend, Darren Proctor joins the team presenting the morning show, Monday to Friday 10am till 2pm.

If you grew up listening to radio in Liverpool you’ll be no stranger to Rick Houghton who joins the Radio City 2 as drive time presenter, 3pm to 7pm.

And of course, Radio City 2 wouldn’t be complete without Pete Price who brings his award-winning phone-in show to late nights across Liverpool.
