Everton football club say they'll offer all the support possible to the family of a 51 year old man who died after collapsing at yesterday's game againt Stoke at Goodison.

The man was taken ill in the Park End at about a quarter past four - police officers, an off duty doctor and paramedics performed CPR on him - and he was rushed to Aintree hospital - but died shortly afterwards

Everton have released a statment - saying they're deeply saddened - 'the thoughts of everyone at the club are with his family and friends' - and they say they will offer any suport his family needs.
