Who gives the strangest Valentine's gifts?

Doddle, the parcel delivery service has revealed that when it comes to Valentine's gifts there's a definite divide.

All 10 of the strangest Valentine's gifts sent last year were through their stores in the south and included a breast pump, history books and a cat toy.

Meanwhile further north is seems partners are more concerned with keeping warm and looking good, giving their loved ones gloves, jackets, jumpers, knitted goods and wellies.

Delving further into the stats it turns out that as well as wanting to keep warm Northerners are more generous, on average spending £60.92, however some presents blow the budget with one loved up customer spending £500 on a jacket and another £90 on a t-shirt.

On the other hand Southerners on average spend £3.78 less on their 'strange' presents.
