Boyzone member Ronan Keating has said it would be ‘fun’ if Boyzone became a supergroup with Westlife.

The idea comes from Busted joining forces with McFly and although there’s no plans to unite the bands just yet, it’s not being ruled out by this Irish singer.

He told Press Association that the idea has been brought up before. "The idea’s been thrown around alright. Not just Westlife, but Girls Aloud and lots of different collaborations.

“I don't know. Maybe, maybe. Never say never to those sort of things. We'll see. Not right now, but maybe, maybe we would. It'd be cool fun I think to do something like that, definitely."

For those who miss Boyzone, he’s hinted that there are plans for the band to mark their 25th birthday next year, with Ronan saying ‘it’ll be a Boyzone extravaganza as per usual”

For the moment though Ronan is focusing on his solo career which sees him touring the UK later in the year.

Fingers crossed!
