David Walliams to host Jameson Empire Awards 2016
The comedian said it's a 'thrill' to have the honour.
It’s been announced that David Walliams will host the Jameson Empire Awards this year.
The British comedian and writer will present the event in front of a star-studded audience at the end of March.
He said: “It's a huge thrill to be hosting the Jameson Empire Awards. I have read the magazine for as long as I can remember and am super excited to find out which Hollywood stars are attending this year."
The nominations, voted for by the public, will be announced on February 18th.
Last year saw awards were picked up for Interstellar, **Gone Girl, Guardians of the Galaxy and many more, with the Empire Hero award going to the Game of Thrones** cast.
The 21st annual awards will take place on March 20th and will feature 11 new categories spanning film, television and gaming.
