One eagle eyed TOWIE fan has been left disappointed and branded the show a 'fake' after spotting the cast film a staged scene.
As she filmed the cast on a night out in Marbella, the fan noticed the cast regulars were dancing with each other in complete silence.
Taking to Instagram to post the video, the fan in question captioned it with 'Cannot believe Towie isn't real and all staged'.
A TOWIE insider has now reportedly said "Cast and crew have always been honest that about some scenes needing more staging in order for dialogue to be heard, but they have also always emphasised that the emotions and relationships that are shown are always completely real".
Despite the new controversy, the new series of the show is set to start later in the month.
