Stephanie Davis fights back tears as she reveals she once tried to take her own life
The CBB runner-up says new love Jeremy has helped with her self-esteem issues.
Stephanie Davis' has faced a lot of criticism after cheating on her boyfriend in the CBB house but speaking on Loose Women the star revealed a softer side as she spoke about her break-up.
The actress accused ex Sam Reece of cheating on her 'time and time again' but she decided to stay with him as she felt like she couldn't leave.
She continued to open up about having issues with low self-esteem and that she'd even tried to take her own life.
"A few years ago I had not a lot of self-worth and didn't really believe in myself and I was going through a bad time, I never really had anyone who loved me for me and it all got a bit much and I was really depressed and I ended up taking an overdose, thinking 'I just can't see myself getting out of this anymore.'"
"I thought that's what I deserved when it wasn't and I know it was bad with Jez but he was the first person to ever love me for being me and not just that, give me the belief back that I've not had for a long time... He makes me want to be a better me".
