Strange magazine cover shows Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid without knees!

Models Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have appeared on the cover of W magazine to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

This in itself isn't particularly unusual, but look closer and you'll notice they are both missing a knee!

In fact they look like they have 'Barbie legs', you know, the rubbery type of legs that spring back into place when they're bent?

A spokesperson from the magazine spoke to BuzzFeed saying, "The images of Kendall and Gigi are part of a project by artists Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin, who are known for their deliberate use of digital technology, combining distortions with makeup and prosthetics."

So perhaps it is all by design?

There are a series of photos of the models including one of the pair on a bed frame where Gigi has a very strange shaped 'elastic' arm as pointed out by this Twitter user.
