WATCH: Facebook to introduce 'Reactions' - a more expressive 'Like' button
This new button will be initially available to those in Ireland and Spain.
Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook has announced the gradual introduction of 'Reactions' through a video (above).
These 'reactions' are a more expressive 'Like' button and allow the user to empathise with post, on Facebook Mark said,
"for many years though, people have asked us to add a "dislike" button. Not every moment is a good moment, and sometimes you just want a way to express empathy."
This new button will be available initially to those in Ireland and Spain where they will be able to access it through holding down on the 'Like' button. Doing so will reveal various emojis including 'love', 'wow' and 'sad'.

In a statement on fb.com Product Manager Chris Tosswill said, "Our goal is to show you the stories that matter most to you in News Feed. Initially, just as we do when someone likes a post, if someone uses a Reaction, we will infer they want to see more of that type of post."
